this is such a late post. as in.After reading bianca gonzales's blog, I was inspired to make one also, and so here. I actually made this last Christmas break and I just published it now.haha. I've been busy with lots of school stuffs, including exams and loads of homeworks. So stressful to start the year. Anyways, these are the persons who made a great impact in my life since last year and whom I consider as my constant companion as I continue my journey. yezzzzz naman:))
1. The most influential person of my year would be Ate Marlanne Orilla. She's the kindest ate I've known. She always offers a shoulder to lean on every time I am sad and troubled. But the best thing she has done for me would probably be concerning my spiritual life. Complete surrender and trust to the Lord are just some of the lessons I have learned from her, and she was the one who gave me my Spiritual birthday!!!! Super happy!!!She helped me grow as an individual in so many aspects. She's definitely one of my favorite listener when I talk about life, because she listens and I also learn from her. Thank you ate! You'll always have a sister in me. xoxo :*
2. My first best friend in college, and my sister also, Mardanne Orilla. She was the one who introduced me to the Christian religion. It all started when she invited me to come to their worship and eventually, I learned to appreciate it and enjoyed it. One thing I admire her is that, though we are not in the same religion, (I'm a Catholic) she never make it an issue. Maybe it all boils down to respect that we have for each other, and the sisterly bond that we continuously nourish until now. Thanks Dane:)
3. My family. Of course, they will never be out in my list. My first rock during troubled times, my constant absorber of the negativities I encounter and my favorite supporters. The world may turn it's back on me, but one thing is for sure, they won't leave me. They love me so much that I can't thank the Lord enough for having them in my life.
4. My powder girls. It's been years, and yet they are still with me. That's how I define genuine friendship. So many problems have already been encountered and surpassed, but we never get tired of picking each other up. That is because we know that no matter what, our love for each other will remain the same. We may not be always together physically, but in our hearts, we are never miles away.
5. New found sisters. Kim, Yeye and Janelle. and dane also. They are my extended sisterssssss in my everyday living. Together, we would eat, study, cram sometimes and hang out a lot of times. I really feel blessed to have them because we share a lot of common things together, and our differences makes our friendship stronger. My 2010 would have not been that colorful if not because of these ladies.
6. My bestest friend, Edward Custodio. He is the most gentleman, one of the most genuine and the best guy friend I know! Edward and I are friends even during our highschool days. But we got real closer when we've found out that we both passed the entrance exam of UST.:)It was never hard for me to adjust on the first days of school because of him. We're each other's source of strength during the hard times. And though we don't always spend time together in school, we always get the chance to catch up. yezz naman:)))My college life would have been miserable if I don't have Edward. Thanks Edward!!You're the best!!!
7. Himmy. As of now, he's himmy. He made me realize that at some points in our lives, we have to let go of those people who want to walk the journey alone. Negative as seemed to me, it taught me to appreciate the new people who wanted to be part of my life. I see him as one of the most essential persons that I didn't expect to come. And everything that he taught me helped me mature as a person, and so I thank him for that.
8. My newly wed cousin:) Ate Jonna and her husband, Kuya Mark :) It's actually their love story that I really admire. After almost 9 years of being together, they finally decided to get married! And I was so touched and moved with their love for each other. yay! There are even times (until now) when I can't believe they're married already. Maybe because Ate Jonna is that close to our hearts and I look at her as an ate also. I can even remember playing jack stone with her and ate ghee joy that's why her wedding is such a great turning point last year. *why am I so affected?:))) aww..* But from the bottom of my heart, I wish them all the best in this new chapter of their lives and congratulations!! Stay happy and full of love!:)
9. My favorite TV personalities. Aside from Toni Gonzaga, the Kealex loveteam made it to my list!! yay!!! Alex Gonzaga, paired with Kean Cipriano, ugh! love!!!! They make my life more colorful!! Like, I can't last a day without talking about them, and I swear, my friends are already influenced!! haha!! I just love them! :) yayayayyayyyyy!!!!!
10. My Ultimate Crushes. Do I still have to explain?:) hahahaha!!!yayayayayayyyy!! okay. quiet nako. haha:))
Thank you for taking time in reading my post! May we all have a good new year ahead!:)) God Bless us all!!
