MedLife in a Capsule

As you all know, I'm currently a 3rd year Med student and in a few weeks, I'll be entering internship *freaking out*. With that thought, I'd like to share with you some memories that I (my classmates) was able to capture during my three years in medschool.

During the first year, I didn't actually have a hard time making friends, for most of my block mates were approachable and nice. So basically, the adjustments that I had to focus on were more on my 'time management' for studying and preparing each day for each subject and more on becoming independent. On the academic side, I remember myself saying, 'Ah, ganito pala sa Medschool. Two subjects a day lang, 4 hours each pero nakakadrain. Ang lala nang very light.'

*numerous photos coming your way!!!*
this was taken during the last day of exam, right before we took our summer break (not sure though)

and another shot!

the first photo on the left was during a small group discussion of Biochem I guess?
Second photo (clockwise) was taken while we were watching our classmates rehearse their piece for Himig Indak (group singing competition held during Christmas season)
Third photo: Last day of exam, after the class picture.
Fourth photo: random photo taken by Dana.

1st photo: another SGD for either Physiology or Biochem. I really can't remember *signs of aging*
2nd photo: Either Student hour or dismissal period
3rd photo: Physiology laboratory
4th photo: Anatomy laboratory (think of those cadavers. yikes!)

3rd photo was our first community exposure for FCM
4th photo was our first Biochem update held on a Saturday

Second year was pretty much more difficult (academic-wise) and more hectic because we had a lot of subjects (most difficult ones). But still, sophomore year was a lot of fun!

all were random photos

more random photos

shout out to my first ever PD group, with one of the bests, Doc Sabangan!! *wohoo*

another shout out for my thesis group! Congratulations to us! All the hard works paid off!

But first, lemme take a selfie!!

During the third year, most of us were more adjusted and I guess we've gotten to learn how to go with the flow of Med's toxicity. We're used to quizzes every subject, SGDs, OSCEs and all surprise activities. Not enjoying everything, though. But, good thing is that, no matter how toxic this year has been, we've managed to keep up together until the last week and wave of exam. (Like pinapatay na kami, pero keri lang)

Photos from History taking of an OB patient, during one of those talks at the Tanchoco Hall and another group-fie before Christmas break.

PD group with forever group mates! Hi Doc Ruales! *wave*

Another shout out to the best group ever! *clears throat* (I'm biased, you know)
This was during our OB watch last January.

First time to actually carry a newborn. as in few hours old. Felt surreal!!
