I get all giddy and warm just every time I remember you. But I'd wake up to my senses and shift my mood to plain annoyance or try to keep myself busy and act as if I'm indifferent towards you. Then I'd unconsciously daydream about you and that you'd eventually like me back and fall in love with me....the most creative of love stories are coming in my mind while I'd stare into nothingness. This feeling is crazy and scary and beautiful and exciting all at once and I'm losing my shit. It has changed my ways unexpectedly and there are times I'm lost with my own track, but in a positively crazy way. One thing darling, it's kind of good for you. You now have a sense of excitement and adventure. Hope it last long and give you great memories to keep.

people
There are people you see everyday, those who pass by your field of view
And there are those whom you take second glances
But there are those whom you choose to look at-briefly or stare for moments
There are people you like- those you instantly get attracted to
--those with whom you develop the attraction through time
...and those that you never thought you'd develop the attraction with.
And there are people you love
Out of responsibility or gratefulness or response
But there are people you love by choice...
And that darling, is the purest and bravest of all.
It's because you let it rule over you, and no one else chose it, but you.

song of the day
GOT YOUR BACK
by T.I. ft. Keri Hilson
When were low
Boy I promise I will never let you go
Said I got I got I got I got yo' back boy
I got I got I got I got yo' back boy
Keep it looking good for ya
Keep it looking hood for ya
Shawty if you don't know
I got I got I got I got your back boy
I got I got I got I got your back boy
littlest of things
Today, I thought it would just be the same as previous normal days, but before it ended, you sent me a random message asking if I pushed through with my plan about my weekend. It was simple and plain, but it meant a lot. we exchanged several text message about random stuff before I had to cut and say goodbye. I didn't want you to think that I'm clingy or whatsoever. What we have is just simple and plain friendship, and I have to content myself with it.

MedLife in a Capsule Part II
So here goes my part 2 of my series called, MedLife in a Capsule.
I don't think anyone has ever survived Medicine on his own. Of course, you need friends and classmates to get through some rough study nights and help each other understand the craziest pathophysiology of certain diseases that might come out on the exam.
In my case, I'm lucky to have my 'constant study buddies' with whom I've shared most of my sleepless nights with (not totally sleepless, though) whether in a coffee shop around QC or just in my dorm.
Here are some of our 'behind-the-scene' moments of cramming few nights before the exam.
During the first year, with Tammy, Mao and Minette
With Fek, Marion and Kaze..... WAIT, NASAAN SI KAZE?!
They are actually my two constant study buddies even until now.
1st and 2nd photos: inside my dorm. #tipidmoves
With Kaze, Marty and Marion.
This was at Starbucks, SM North and we're studying for Radio Prelims I guess.
With Ros and Lana
We've had a lot of group study sessions, but we failed to take some photos (Like duh, why would we take a lot during study sessions?) and some might have not yet been uploaded.
This part of the post seems lame, eh? Or is it just me not in the mood to actually think of good statements and compose a good narrative? Or maybe it's just me feeling a bit under the weather.
Anyway, that's it guys!!!kisses!!

MedLife in a Capsule
As you all know, I'm currently a 3rd year Med student and in a few weeks, I'll be entering internship *freaking out*. With that thought, I'd like to share with you some memories that I (my classmates) was able to capture during my three years in medschool.
During the first year, I didn't actually have a hard time making friends, for most of my block mates were approachable and nice. So basically, the adjustments that I had to focus on were more on my 'time management' for studying and preparing each day for each subject and more on becoming independent. On the academic side, I remember myself saying, 'Ah, ganito pala sa Medschool. Two subjects a day lang, 4 hours each pero nakakadrain. Ang lala nang very light.'
*numerous photos coming your way!!!*
this was taken during the last day of exam, right before we took our summer break (not sure though)
and another shot!
the first photo on the left was during a small group discussion of Biochem I guess?
Second photo (clockwise) was taken while we were watching our classmates rehearse their piece for Himig Indak (group singing competition held during Christmas season)
Third photo: Last day of exam, after the class picture.
Fourth photo: random photo taken by Dana.
1st photo: another SGD for either Physiology or Biochem. I really can't remember *signs of aging*
2nd photo: Either Student hour or dismissal period
3rd photo: Physiology laboratory
4th photo: Anatomy laboratory (think of those cadavers. yikes!)
1st photo: during Mr and Ms Medicine in 2013
2nd photo: Himig Indak
3rd photo: Biochem class
4th photo: Histology laboratory
1st photo: Tammy's birthday celebration
2nd photo: Foodtrip after exam at Maginhawa then Isaw at Mang Larry's in UP
3rd photo: pretty sure this was during Student hour
4th photo: Had coffee at Starbucks Trinoma
1st photo was taken on the same day of class picture
2nd photo was during MCU's Christmas party
3rd photo was our first community exposure for FCM
4th photo was our first Biochem update held on a Saturday
Second year was pretty much more difficult (academic-wise) and more hectic because we had a lot of subjects (most difficult ones). But still, sophomore year was a lot of fun!
all were random photos
more random photos
shout out to my first ever PD group, with one of the bests, Doc Sabangan!! *wohoo*
another shout out for my thesis group! Congratulations to us! All the hard works paid off!
But first, lemme take a selfie!!
During the third year, most of us were more adjusted and I guess we've gotten to learn how to go with the flow of Med's toxicity. We're used to quizzes every subject, SGDs, OSCEs and all surprise activities. Not enjoying everything, though. But, good thing is that, no matter how toxic this year has been, we've managed to keep up together until the last week and wave of exam. (Like pinapatay na kami, pero keri lang)
Photos from History taking of an OB patient, during one of those talks at the Tanchoco Hall and another group-fie before Christmas break.
PD group with forever group mates! Hi Doc Ruales! *wave*
Another shout out to the best group ever! *clears throat* (I'm biased, you know)
This was during our OB watch last January.
First time to actually carry a newborn. as in few hours old. Felt surreal!!
some random group photos during Clinics, selfies and those hackers *you know those moments when you left for CR break and your friends use your iPad for their selfies* yeah. those moments.
sooooo that's it for now!!!
Last week of exams got me like...
totoo ba? shet compre na.

What my Friday nights are for
I love love love love love (like seriously) Friday nights! I mean, who wouldn't, right? Well of course except those weekends when I'm off to a early seminar or workshop or whatsoever school-related stuff. There's something about waking up early for a 'responsibility' that makes it so much tiring and less exciting. It's completely different from waking up early for a good grind, oh wait, scratch that, that doesn't mean workout or any sort of burning calories- more of blogging or doing other stuff I'm into, just like now...
Enough for all those mini chitchat, let me share with you guys what I'm obsessed with during Friday nights. Let's start?
1. Long shower
Like long! about 45 minutes to 1 hour maybe? Sayang sa tubig. hahaha Kidding aside, it's really one of my routines during Friday nights. Well honestly, I don't really have a spacious bathroom here in my dorm, but it's enough to at least move around and scrub my body while singing and dancing to my fave song. LIVE. parang concert, ganon! hahahaha
To my neighbors who would hear my diva-ish voice during most of Friday nights, You're welcome! hehehe libreng concert *wink*
Seriously, sorry na po.
2. Good music
My preference for music varies from day-to-day, or sometimes depends on my mood. Just like last night, I was browsing the Spotify's random playlists and tried this 'Sappy and Senti' playlist, and I completely fell in love with it! Good for some reminiscing and contemplating about life's ridiculous moments. It includes some really good old songs namely: Always be my Baby, All out of Love and Cry. I mean, they're not really your classic love songs, but they're those you used to hear during high school days. Perfect for relaxing nights.
3. Hot tea
It has been my habit to drink tea every night, since a few years back, but Friday nights are so special coz I get to enjoy it more. (How do you even enjoy drinking tea) Is it just me, or Friday night tea session is a lot more relaxing than the other days'? Seems weird. *rolls eyes*
4. Relaxing Facial Masque
Perfect idea to de-stress after a week of exams (and issues) in school. I also love some massage and mani-pedi, but the idea of being out doesn't really seem appealing to me. Shout out to those girls who prefer staying in during Friday nights!!! I'm with you pretties!!
5. Favorite Classic Movie
'And don't forget. I'm also just a girl standing in front of a man, asking him to love her' Sounds familiar? hehehe Ugh, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts plus the original movie scoring (When You Say Nothing at All) are really the perfect mix! I've watched it for almost a hundred (exag ko naman) times but never nakakasawa! Notting Hill would always be my favorite! But..... other movies that I also love to watch during Friday nights would include Sandra Bullock's, like: Two Weeks Notice and The Proposal as well as Julia Roberts' Pretty Woman. I'm forever fan of these two amazing women!
Lastly and most importantly, best part of my Friday nights would be 'alarm-less sleep' Like I can sleep at 8pm and wake up when the sun's fully out--like I've been deprived all my life of sleep. The best feeling of being curled up under your sheets, with dim lights and perfect cold temperature. Ugh! never gonna trade this for anything.
Well that basically how I spend most of my Friday nights. Kaya atat na atat ako umuwi after class. That's how I lola. Funny coz some people would think it's boring, but I guess I'm just really so tamad of going out, so I'd just lie on my bed instead. Sobrang tamad like that. *sorry na* But there are also days when I'd go home (like home in my province) or have some catching up sessions over dinner with some good friends or Friday night-outs with block mates. Sinisipag din kumilos minsan.
How about yours? Hope you're having a great weekend!!!

APRIL FOOLING
Wow, the past days of April have been (and still is) busy and hectic. Talk about toxic highlights of MedSchool. Uhm, yes, I'm still having school and we're currently battling with hell weeks for quite a long time and I'm honestly confused if I hate it or actually love it because I'm torn between hating the 'sleepless review nights' and loving the 'light schedule' that we have. You get it, we can't have the best of both worlds. Another thing that freaks me out these days is the fact that I'll be entering internship SOON. Like seriously, I don't even know what I'm doing with my life lately! I need a breather, and about that thing, I'm planning to go to Ilocos and have some 'soul-searching' no, scratch that, it's more of a 'break' from this toxic life I'm currently in right now. Anyway, I just want to update you, since my mood for studying for Surgery hasn't come up yet...until now. So there. xx
P.S. Remember my crush, who'm I have been ranting about during the Holy week? Guess what, the feelings subsided. Great control and composure, I guess? *wink*
