AFAR
Tried to hide it
tried to avoid you
But every single cell in my body
craves your attention
Looking at you, memories flash
I wish nothing has changed
But as I see you, happiness is written all over
Yes you're happy and that's just how I want you to be
Happy, even without me

SUNDAY CURRENTLY VOL. XIII
Tadaaaa!!! You must know where I am!!! Yes, Finally darlings, I'm home!!!! After 2 months of pre-duty-from-ing, I finally found the time to escape and never come back from the hustle and bustle of clerkship.
Girl nakakapagod naman talaga yung mga ganaps and all, but what's important is that, together with my other co-clerks and friends, we're able to get through each day. Wake up-survive ang pattern, ganon. Anyway, for my SC, I am

Reading: Fashion and lifestyle blogs #chillchilltayoganon
Writing: Aside from this SC post, wala na hehehehehe char! let's see kapag sinipag, baka madagdagan pa hahaha
Wearing: alam mo na!!!!!! a pair of sleepwear hihihihi pero and init sa feeling
Listening: Feel good music!!! pero now playing is "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter pero, it's actually a great and amazing morning here at home, currently loving it!
Thinking: about a lot of things lately. Like, how am I supposed do certain 'ganaps' that I've been planning. Then the last movie I've seen na super kilig. And how should I act normal around people whom I don't really know how I feel about...kastress te, legit.
Feeling: Confused. Wow, arte nya o. hahahaha But really, I don't exactly know now how I really feel about what's been going on.
Wishing: That I'll be able to finish my requirements and submit them on the right time without cramming!! But knowing me, wala pakong nasisimulan kahit isa! hahaha
Praying: That my present rotation continue to be 'kaya naman, so far' and enjoyable most of the times. Pero girl, nakakapagod ng malala ang magcommunity! Ikapapayat ko yata ito!
Hoping: To hang out with my friends outside medschool soon pls. I need escape. wow.
Wanting: To replace my phone's battery or kung bumili na lang kaya ako ng bago?! Kasi girl ang OA malowbatt ni ate phone. Kainis, promise.
Loving: Today that I got to spend most of my weekend at home, with my doggie Chloe girl. huhuhu

Happy Sunday friends!!

3 am thoughts
Where art thou, my love?
How long must I wait?
How much more must I take?
Been looking for you
Where could I find you?
Or would you rather look for me?
Do you even know I exist
Should I let destiny find its way?
For us to finally cross each other's paths
And start our forever if we may

the SAN LAZARO HOSPITAL experience
Anyway, I was totally wrong about it! No one was ready for sure, but everyone is gonna go through it and will eventually learn how to deal with the 'toxicity' of the whole experience. True enough, my first day was the most stressful day of my clerkship so far, but it made me think of ways and means to figure out how to be systematic in my 15 days of stay there.
Paperwork was one one of the most toxic of the tasks, since it requires handwritten discharge summaries and abstracts. yes dear, handwritten. Aside from that, I was also tasked to perform certain skills I thought I'd never do such as CPR (true pala, I thought sa TV lang haha), IV insertion, NGT insertion, and of course, history and PE. I've also seen a LOT of abnormal Xray results and eventually familiarized myself with how they look if they're infected with TB. Another thing that amazed me was the number of patients who would go there in the wee hours complaining of dog bite. Seriously people, how come you get a dog bite at 3am? Bakit ayaw nyo matulog?! Not only dog bites, but also variety of animals and insects (snakes, cat, centipede, alakdan and some other weird creatures). Aside from those, I was also exposed to infectious diseases (malamang, girl) which I thought only exist in literature. I got to see for real patients with Tetanus, MERS-Cov, Herpes Zoster, TB Meningitis, HIV and a lot of TB! Super amazed and shocked and surprised at the same time!
And so...that was the San Lazaro effect.

Sunday Currently Vol. XII
It was a rest day (semi-rest day, actually) Sunday for me today, so here I am blogging and updating!!! Cheers for having found the time, finally!!
I've been with these two corny slash annoying-but-sweet souls for six consecutive weeks now, and I couldn't imagine how flat and boring my clerkship would have if not for them. Sooooo, I'm using our photo together as my SC heading. (joke, wala lang talaga ako magamit na ibang picture. hehehe. kidding)
Anyway, I was planning to just make kwento about my clerkship, but I decided to make another post about it instead (pampadami ng updates). So just like any other SCs, let me start off with my
Currently
Reading: Random tweets and Facebook feeds. But I'm also planning to read a chapter or two about my case... but who knows, baka di ko rin magawa. More likely, di ko nga magagawa hehe
Writing: Good news!! Aside from this post, I'm intensely motivated to write another one regarding my previous rotation!! *crossed fingers*
Wearing: Nothing....joke! (that didn't sound sexy, I know hahaha) a pair of sleepwear, as usual. it's bed weather, darling!!!
Listening: Like I'm gonna Lose You cover by Dallas Caroline and Terry Mahier on Spotify
Thinking: About how to really successfully find a way to make my friend's crush notice her. It's a little matchmaking job which I really find fulfilling!!! Girl I must be a cupid in my previous lifetime!!! And it's so damn frustrating when we only got few days left and nothing on Earth is happening!!!! Oh God and all the spirits of love, help me get them together!!!! (Wow obsessed si ate girl?) pathetic little girl. Sucker of cutie love stories. Or pakialamera lang talaga? oh well that's really one thing about me I thought I've outgrown, but I guess I'm wrong hihihi
Feeling: A lot anxious about this coming Tuesday's theracon. As in nakakakaba. I can't imagine how I would make it through that day without actually passing out. I'll be on from-duty status that day and I only pray to not say crap during the actual conference!!! Girl, I kenaaaat! Magkaka General Anxiety Disorder na yata ako!
Wishing: That this rotation ends with a big bang!!!! Or something really memorable and worthy for the book happens. Though I'm content with the friendship that I already gained in this rotation, as well as with the two previous ones. Pero iba pa din kung may magaganap na pasabog!!! hehehe mapilit si ate girl eh.
Praying: That the next theracon be chill. And that my next rotation (FCM) have a lot of beautiful things in store for me and my group mates. I seriously have a lot of worries about this clerkship, but I pray to get through them eventually and that every adjustment be smooth and quick.
Hoping: That the friendship I've gained in this experience last for a long time. And that those people who were so mean to us clerks, and look down on us be a bit considerate and nice. Yung totoo, magkano po ba maging mabait?! Why can't you be nice?!?!?! Always have room for mistakes and learnings, people. Di rin kayo perfect, duh. *rolls eyes*
Wanting: You know me, I want lotsa things hehehe To start with, I'm excited to get my hands to my Kylie lip kit, arriving this July hehehe. Not really a make up fan, but I feel unusually excited to try it. Makikiuso lang naman. hahaha Aside from that, I'm planning to buy new duffel bag since my duty schedule comes every 3 days, which means I need to bring part of my closet to the hospital at most thrice a week. I've been online checking for Herschel bags and so far I'm liking them. Hopefully I could buy one anytime this week. I actually realized I have less time to hang with friends now since I got a tight schedule, so I don't think I would need a lot of new clothes anytime soon. Next summer pa saguro. hahaha
Loving: The kilig and thrill that this internship syndrome is giving me. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't involve me, but my friend rather. hehehe this one's so old school. You know that feeling when you push your friend to her crush and you get kilig yourself? that's exactly how it is. Crazy high school feels right there.
Oh well, that's how my Sunday went. I originally planned to join a Sunday Service, but it rained too hard, that it's already flooded in my area, preventing me to go out. So there, I ended up blogging.
Happy Sunday everyone!!
